Tuttle's Thumbs and A Point in Space

Last night Richard Tuttle was speaking to me about art

depending upon the origin of a point in space and then

connecting that point in space with another point.

At that point in the conversation he very specifically

positioned his thumbs like the diagram above. I instantly

thought, "Rope Piece!". He then posed the question,

what if one of the points was taken away?

Slammed by Agnes de Bethune

Agnes de Bethune slammed me with a bunch

of images. This is the first set.

Check out her blog. In a recent post she

meticulously lays out a method for

constructing a carton "for storing and

transporting paintings". It's great!

Looking at Sisley-Blinn's muffins, I recalled I made

these in 2007. Although they look more like Reese's

Peatnut Butter Cups.

I love wikipedia. A question came to my mind: Who is

Reese and what's up with his cups?

And just like that I got my

answer.
